“The Public Space Protection in a Changing Security Landscape: Trends, Technology, and Policy Priorities” is the name of a PRECRISIS project conference that will take place on June 4-5, 2025, in Limassol, Cyprus.
This two-day event is hosted by the Development agency of Lemesos (Analem) – a member of the PRECRISIS consortium. Representatives of the other consortium partners will be also in attendance. This public space protection conference will convene experts from across Europe to discuss insider threat strategies, compliance challenges and public perceptions. Local stakeholders in Cyprus will have the opportunity to join the debate.
The pinnacle of this event will be a public demonstration of the AI technology platform and practitioner toolkit, developed in the context of the PRECRISIS project partnership. Notably, the conference will include a module on validating the PRECRISIS platform‘s final version.
The conference participants will discuss the perspectives of surveillance monitoring to protect public spaces from all forms of threat. Presentations and expert panel discussions on crisis communications are also on the agenda.
“We look forward to this conference, because it will mark the beginning of the PRECRISIS project’s final phase of implementation. We have achieved many, and significant, results during the project together with our colleagues in the consortium. So, we look forward to showcasing them at this event in Cyprus“, Borislav Mavrov from EI commented.
