On 24 April 2024, the PRECRISIS consortium members gathered in Sofia/Bulgaria for their second in-person meeting.

The event started with a review of the progress achieved across the project’s work packages (WPs). The experts representing FBK and CERTH at the event walked the participants through the entire WP3 (PRECRISIS Platform) and its technical aspects.

Next, the partners discussed the launch of the project’s piloting phase. The consortium representatives defined the key parameters and criteria for deploying the PRECRISIS pilot exercises. The partners discussed the methodology of the pilots, the aspects related to data collection and protection, as well as general questions on project management.

The partners considered the possibility for the first pilot session to be held in Austria, while the second and third such sessions to be hosted in Bulgaria and in Cyprus.
